Diary Entry - My British Museum Experience

Yesterday, I went to the British Museum. I went with my dad. It took a good lot of time, but we finally reached. Our bags were checked, and we went inside.
I chose to go to the Africa gallery first, as it would be good to go somewhere different. I saw huge and weird masks that Africans wear. Some had long winding tusks and others had long chins or beards. I also saw a tree all made from cut guns. After that, we saw some North American culture. I saw fur coats and lots of other stuff to survive the cold.
Then we saw a bit of Aztec culture. I was astonished to see that the Aztecs would smash glass to tiny pieces and join them together to make sculptures. I liked the two- headed serpent the most.
While roaming around, we became as hungry as wolves, so we sat down to eat. I had sandwiches, and my dad ate roti.  We went to the ‘Living and Dying’ section where we saw a hands-on thing. We saw how gold was traded using weights some 500 years ago. We did some shopping after that. I brought a brain game book. We then went back home.
British museum left me exasperated like me trying to get a pot of jam but not being able to reach it. The museum gives me this feeling as it’s so interesting that you want to see it all in one trip! But this museum is too big for that!
