Jojo Mama's Marriage

DAY 1 PART 1 There were five highlights today, four of which were related to food. Mostly, the other people shot pictures (I was reading a Satyajit Ray book, unless I was needed in the picture) while the decorators decorated the whole house. In the end, the house looked amazing. The gate looked immensely grand, and the whole place was covered in plastic, colourful flowers. To sum it up, it looked great. At first, everyone took a few pictures. By the way, I was the nitbor. Then the first highlight came. It was a ceremony in which all the people older than Jojo Mama (my dad filmed the whole thing) put Khol on his head, then scrubbed his head with a bar of soap and finally soaked his hair with water. Then we took a lot of pictures. Then came the second highlight. My Dad took me downstairs to see the cooks cooking. Diary Entry - My British Museum Experience

Yesterday, I went to the British Museum. I went with my dad. It took a good lot of time, but we finally reached. Our bags were checked, and we went inside. I chose to go to the Africa gallery first, as it would be good to go somewhere different. I saw huge and weird masks that Africans wear. Some had long winding tusks and others had long chins or beards. I also saw a tree all made from cut guns. After that, we saw some North American culture. I saw fur coats and lots of other stuff to survive the cold. Then we saw a bit of Aztec culture. I was astonished to see that the Aztecs would smash glass to tiny pieces and join them together to make sculptures. I liked the two- headed serpent the most. While roaming around, we became as hungry as wolves, so we sat down to eat. I had sandwiches, and my dad ate roti.  We went to the ‘Living and Dying’ section where we saw a hands-on thing. In Little Bumbleton, a curious girl lived. She had heard rumours about an enchanted wood. In the middle of that wood was a haunted house. Nobody dared to go there except that curious little girl. Her name was Fiona. She made two friends there! It all started on dark clear night. Fiona had been informed that she shouldn’t go to that wood. Did Fiona care?  No. So, off she went.
